Cédric SCHÄRER
Cédric Schärer studied at McGill University and ETH Lausanne, where he graduated in 1995. He completed his two-year professional internship at P&T Architects & Engineers in Hong Kong and at Arata Isozaki Architects in Tokyo. In 1996, he moved to New York, where he collaborated with artists Arakawa+Gins and with Franke Gottsegen and Cox Architects until his return to Switzerland in 2001. Since 1996, he has maintained a private practice with numerous completed projects, competition entries, and awards. Concurrently, he pursued an academic career, teaching at ETH Lausanne with Albert Campo Baeza and Jaques Lucan. Since 2017, he has led a design studio at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland Geneva (HEPIA). He is a regular contributor to architectural magazines and delivers lectures in Switzerland and abroad.
