The office is currently working on the transformation and renovation of several historic buildings, the development of a housing project, and several competitions.
Cédric Schärer Architectes is a dynamic studio that promotes collaborations beyond the limits of architecture. Specific teams are formed to address each task adequately and to bring it to a higher level.
Associating the expertise of engineers, designers, graphic designers, contractors, and artists allow us to tackle projects of various types and scales ranging from installations to urban design with an acute sense of curiosity. We brings our clients a dedicated and specific response to their needs and aspirations.
Back in Switzerland, co-founded the architectural firm PRS-A in 2001, which was awarded prizes in many competitions and has built a wide range of projects. He left PRS-A in 2016 to found Cédric Schärer Architects.
BsC & MsC at McGill University and ETH Lausanne, where he graduated in 1995. Professional internship in Asia, at P&T Architects & Engineers, Hong Kong and at Arata Isozaki Architects, Tokyo. Moved to New York in 1996 and collaborated with the artists Arakawa+Gins and then joined the architectural firm of Franke Gottsegen and Cox Architects.
